Happy Thanksgiving From David Mann…
Since last Thanksgiving, many events have happened that may make some of us wonder if feeling grateful is still important or even appropriate. We are suffering from a devastating pandemic not seen in more than a century; experiencing civil unrest reminiscent of the 1960s; are enduring the worst downturn of our economy since the Great Depression; had two Cincinnati Councilmembers arrested by the FBI and charged with felonies; experienced one of the most acrimonious General Elections in history. And finally, and very personally, I lost my beloved Mother earlier this month at age 103.
Still, in these trying times, I am reminded that our community is resilient, and I can’t help but look toward a better year ahead. I am thankful for the good news of effective vaccines; I am hopeful that once again, as a country and as a city, we will be able to have a civil discourse; that Cincinnati will continue to make progress toward helping those who need it most; and I am optimistic that our local economy will bounce back in the year ahead.

David Mann for Cincinnati Mayor
I have served this community as councilman, mayor, member of congress and, most recently, as vice mayor and chair of the budget and finance committee. In this most challenging time of unrest and the coronavirus, experience and wisdom count more than ever before. Humbly, I believe that my years of public service have prepared me to be mayor in this particularly challenging moment. I ask for your help on this journey.
